Local/global is going to be the next item on the agenda for the Reunion Project. Not only are we going to help reunite families, but we are going to use the vehicle of micro-green indoor farming to start a grassroots movement toward food and humanitarianism. Right now we are researching where to get the best seeds and how to best grow them. Then we are going to research where to sell the product. Once this is established, we will be on our way to raising more money for reunion trips for South Sudanese Lost Boys and Girls. Stay tuned and watch us grow!
One of the Reunion Project winners, James Deng, will be speaking and sharing his story at STAND’s (Drexel Chapter) bonfire. Come May 31 from 7-9 to listen to him speak about experiences over s’mores! Location TBD
